Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know
How your protocol is prescribed, prepared, shipped, and supported — with no guesswork.
Your Medication & What's Included
Do I need to mix or reconstitute my peptides?
No. All peptides are premixed by the pharmacy before shipping, so they arrive ready to use. There's no reconstitution, no bacteriostatic water, and no measuring powders — your medication is prepared to your prescribed concentration before it ever leaves the pharmacy.
What comes with my order?
Every order includes your medication, insulin needles for administration, and your prescription with the proper dosing protocol written by your licensed provider. You'll have everything you need to start your protocol the day your package arrives.
Will my order include dosing instructions?
Yes. All medications ship with your prescription and a provider-written dosing protocol — exactly how much to take, how often, and how to administer it. If anything is unclear, your provider is available to walk you through it.
Shipping & Delivery
How are my medications shipped?
All medications ship in climate-controlled packaging designed to keep peptides at a stable temperature from the pharmacy to your door. Once your order is approved and processed, it ships overnight to minimize time in transit.
How long until my order arrives?
From the time you place your order to delivery takes 7–10 days maximum. This window covers your provider's review, prescription approval, pharmacy compounding and processing — then your package ships overnight for the final leg.
Will everything arrive in one package?
Not always. Depending on the medications in your protocol, you may receive multiple shipments from different pharmacies. Each medication is compounded by the pharmacy best suited to prepare it, so don't worry if part of your order arrives before the rest.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. All orders arrive in discreet packaging with nothing on the outside indicating what's inside. Your privacy is protected from checkout to delivery.
Do you ship to my state?
Tru-Genetics protocols are available in all 50 states. Your entire experience — assessment, provider consultation, prescription, and delivery — happens without ever visiting a clinic.
Pharmacy & Quality
Where do my medications come from?
Every medication is compounded and dispensed by a certified 503A/503B compounding pharmacy in the USA. These pharmacies are regulated under FDA sections 503A and 503B and are held to strict standards for sterility, potency, and quality — this is prescription-grade medicine, not gray-market product.
How is this different from buying peptides online?
Research-grade peptides sold online are unregulated — no prescription, no purity verification, no medical oversight. Every Tru-Genetics protocol is prescribed by a licensed medical provider, compounded by a certified US pharmacy, premixed to your exact prescription, and backed by ongoing provider monitoring.
Getting Started
How does the process work?
Four steps: complete a 5-minute confidential online assessment, a licensed provider reviews your case within 24 hours, your prescription is sent to a certified compounding pharmacy and shipped to you, and your provider monitors and optimizes your protocol on an ongoing basis.
Do I need to visit a clinic or doctor's office?
No. The entire process is online — assessment, provider review, prescription, and delivery to your door. No clinic visits, no waiting rooms.
Do I need blood work before starting?
Some protocols require baseline blood work so your provider can prescribe safely and track your progress. See our
Blood Panels page for what's required for your protocol.
What is the Good Faith Exam (GFE)?
The Good Faith Exam is a medical evaluation performed by a licensed medical professional before your protocol is prescribed. It confirms you are medically cleared for the treatments you've selected based on your health history and assessment. Once completed, a copy of your GFE is sent to your email for your records.
Can I speak with a medical professional before my order is processed?
Yes. If you'd like to talk through your protocol before it's processed, you can add a one-on-one consultation with a peptide specialist for $199 at the checkout page. The consultation is completely optional — it's not required to start your protocol, but it's there if you want expert guidance first.
Refills & Reordering
How do I reorder my medications?
Reordering is simple — once your first order is submitted, you'll be sent a reorder link. When it's time to continue your protocol, just use that link to place your next order.
How long can my medications be prescribed for?
All medications can be prescribed for a maximum of 3 months at a time. If you want to continue your protocol after that, you absolutely can — you'll simply reorder in 3-month increments. This keeps your provider involved in your progress and ensures your protocol stays dialed in as your results evolve.
Traveling With Your Medication
Can I travel with my medications?
Yes. You have a legal prescription, so you can travel anywhere in the world with your medications. We recommend keeping your medications with your prescription and dosing protocol (included with every order) when you travel.
Can I travel with peptides? How do I keep them cold?
Yes. Since peptides are temperature-sensitive, we suggest purchasing a USB rechargeable cooler that is TSA approved. It keeps your peptides at a stable temperature through flights and travel days, and passes through airport security without issue.
Safety & Support
Are these treatments safe?
All protocols are
medically supervised — prescribed by licensed providers, screened against your health history, and monitored with periodic lab work. Every medication has eligibility criteria and potential side effects, which your provider reviews with you. Full details are on our
Safety Information page.
What if I have questions during my protocol?
Your provider relationship doesn't end at the prescription. Ongoing monitoring and optimization are part of every protocol. For medical professional help during your protocol — dosing, side effects, or results — email
